FAQ about Hypnotherapy

What does hypnosis feel like? What if I can’t be hypnotized?

  • It feels pleasant and relaxing. It is a natural state that we all experience throughout our day. For example if you “space-out” and miss your exit or get home and don’t remember the drive, then you have experienced hypnosis. Your conscious mind is distracted or very focused, allowing your subconscious mind to take over. Many clients have the same question and discover that hypnosis is quite easy and powerful.

Could I give up control?

  • Absolutely not. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It is a natural state that you allow yourself to have. At any time you want to emerge out of hypnosis you will have the power to do so.  A hypnotherapist is a guide, however all the change is made by you.

What if I don’t wake up?

  • No one has ever been stuck in a hypnotic state. It simply cannot happen. If there was a need to leave the room immediately, you would simply be able to get up and go.

Will I remember everything?

  • Yes and your subconscious will absorb the changes much like your body absorbs nourishment. The benefits will continue to evolve after you have tapped into and began a dialogue with the subconscious.
